Firmly established as one of North Devon’s most popular contemporary and traditional crafts events, The Original Gifts Exhibition once again kicks off the festive season in style with over 40 stalls by local artists and makers providing a fantastic selection of textiles; from quilting and felting to knitwear; furniture, woodwork & driftwood; paper and book crafts; jewellery, glass, ceramics, basketry, ironwork, copperwork, leatherwork, candles, paintings and many other festive goodies including a great range of cards, decorations and fair trade gifts.

Having recently moved to the area, Teresa still enjoys painting Kent landscapes but now concentrates on the dramatic land and seascapes of North Devon.
This selection of mixed media works incorporate acrylic, oil, ink, wax and organic material from the location of the painting.more
The Eternal Yes is the continuous celebration of aliveness for being alive and nothing else. It is not only growth, creation, development, but also destruction, death and collapse that are part of the Eternal Yes. The visual images shown in this exhibition depict some of the contending parties, the protagonists and antagonists, the optimists and pessimists, the good and the bad, etc., as the promoting, sustaining and dissolving process of life. These contending parties are all intrinsically part of life as it journeys along towards the ocean of endless renewal.
Cliff grew up in North Devon, and developed a love for the sea and art. Going on to gain his degree from Falmouth Art College, he then spent several years working for charities and extreme sports companies in the area of graphic design. Returning to live in North Devon in 2012, Cliff focused more on fine art pieces, and helped lecture in art at North Devon College. Then in August, 2013 Cliff suffered a major stroke, losing the use of his right arm, the tool of his trade.
