The Devon based artist Marianne Edwards has captured the stunning scenery of South West landscapes and the coastline for more than half a century and is holding an exhibition of her latest paintings this July at The Plough Arts Centre alongside the work of ceramicist, Jan Lye.

Marianne focuses on countryside scenery in pastels, including tree-lined valleys, narrow lanes and rolling hills. The ‘Fantastic Fifth Art Show’ is a diverse and vibrant exhibition showcasing some of the amazing art work created at Great Torrington School. ‘Every child is an artist’ wrote Pablo Picasso, and  the students here  are actively and positively encouraged to experiment with a wide range of materials and starting points taking inspiration from other artists work and the whole world around them.
