Following recent news that Arts Council England has awarded regular core funding, through its 2023-26 Investment Programme, to The Plough Arts Centre, the multi-purpose arts and community venue in Great Torrington has become a National Portfolio Organisation (N.P.O.) and will be receiving annual funding from the Arts Council through public investment to support a range of new initiatives to est

The Plough welcomes historic funding news

It has just been announced that The Plough Arts Centre‘s application for regular core funding from Arts Council England has been approved. From April 2023 the popular arts and community venue will become a National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) and has received a conditional offer of core support of £120,000 per year for three years.

After a year of enforced closure, The Plough Arts Centre plans to reopen with a bang this summer and one that will reverberate across 15 open-air theatre venues as the Torrington based arts charity kicks off what must be the largest Open-Air Theatre Festival in the country.

Plough Bounces Back with Plans to Reopen
