Christmas Crafts Show

Our annual craft fair of local makers will take place in the auditorium and foyer of The Plough from 10am - 8pm over 3 days. Card payments only please.

Nicky Montagu

Nicky Montagu is a printmaker living in North Devon whose art combines collagraph, dry point & etching. Her work is inspired by the memory of observations made while living on the tidal estuary. It’s pared down simplicity coming out of the solitude of viewing the landscape. She focusses on elements within the landscape and evokes a meditative sense within her work. Roger Davies

Roger Davies has been working as a sign writer all over England, although particularly in and around Great Torrington since the late 1950’s – and is still producing wonderful hand-painted signs for the town. This show will include examples of his craftsmanship as well as photographs from the past.  Roger will be giving a demonstration of his craft in the gallery from 10am - 1pm on  Saturday October 12th and 26th.

Adult Art Classes at Petroc

This exhibition is a celebration of adult art classes at Petroc. The work displayed will be a collective project comprising of handmade bunting, with all students from the level 2 Art & Design courses creating individual pennants using a variety of media.

A bright, happy outcome to celebrate the conclusion of their courses!

Petroc are running level 2 Art courses from September and January. Many students progress on to further and Higher Education, and in doing so, find a renewed interest in art that becomes a fulfilling aspect of their lives.more
