StevieRay Latham

Inhabiting a liminal space; somewhere between dream and reality, imagination and memory, StevieRay Latham's practice investigates how ideas of collective memory, history and identity are created. Working from images found in archives, family photo albums, WhatsApp groups and hard drives his paintings conjure ancestral ghosts in order to question how we remember working class histories.

Kateryna Rudiakova

'There are so many things we forget about the moment they’re out of our sight… When people stop talking about it, when the news and journalists don’t report about it as eagerly, even such huge things as wars fade from our memories. To not cover our eyes and turn away from the pain and despair, this photo exhibition of Ukraine is here to remind us of what is truly Important.'more

Kitchen Connections

Paintings by Henrietta Paine

'Kitchen Connections’ have been created in response, and in honour of the next generation of young adults, at their time of stepping out into the world. The paintings mark a time when small meet ups were punctuated with intervals of lockdown and large parties were illegal, (save exclusively for our government, it transpires).
Painted in oils, the images aim to reflect pent up energy and vibrance of youth and a need for connection, trust and autonomy. In turn they aim to capture the angst of isolation and loss of contact and bewilderment of circumstances.

Artist's Wall

Marion Elmes

‘Wherever my paintings lead, I follow.’

Semi-abstract paintings with gestural biomorphic images.
Music-infused. Sound scribbles.
Often pumped up with primal energies.
Playful words intertwine with random marks.
Always intuited and experimental.
These are descriptions of Marion’s most recent mixed media
paintings, all of which stem from an unpredictable, free-flowing state
of being.more
