A musical revue of the early work of Stephen Sondheim, the greatest lyricist of the late 20th century; featuring well-known songs from Gypsy, West Side Story and Company; classics include Send In The Clowns and Broadway Baby. Directed by Richard Stirling (Bridgerton, The Crown), starring Carolyn Maitland (currently appearing as Mary Delgado in the West End production of Jersey Boys), Ian McLarnon (Casualty, Sweeney Todd) and Carol Carey (Godspell, Theatrefest 2022, Love Actually) with musical direction by Nathan Martin (Popstar to Operastar, Simply Barbra).

Stagedore Theatre Company - After running Total Theatre School, a successful children’s theatre school in Appledore for 6 years, Co-Producers Sara and Carol went on to set up STC, with a long-term goal to be as carbon neutral as possible using local, professional actors, singers, technicians, Directors based in the South West. November 2021, we launched with a successful, sold out Murder Mystery Evening in Appledore, performed recently at Theatrefest 2022 in S.P.A.C.E by Bev Clark and can be seen as part of the Paines Plough programme at The Landmark in September.
