Radical Love is an inspiring documentary film about life and philosophy of Satish Kumar. It is a film about love and forgiveness, about activism, optimism and hope. The film narrates the story of Satish becoming a monk, then becoming an activist in the Land Gift movement and then going on a peace pilgrimage around the world. The film also tells the story of Schumacher College and Satish’s friendship with Vandana shiva.

We are excited to announce that Satish Kumar and Julio Hey, the Director of the film will be present at the event! So, please come and see the film and enjoy a unique opportunity to meet Satish Kumar and hear him in conversation with the film’s director Julio Hey who will be travelling to the UK especially for the film premiere in London a few days before! The bar will be open afterwards for drinks.

There will also be a bookstall in the foyer where guests will have the opportunity to buy books, have them signed and purchase copies of Resurgence & Ecologist magazine.

Resurgence & Ecologist magazine addresses the environmental, social, and spiritual challenges and opportunities of our time. It provides a voice for change that is driven not by fear, but by a love of the Earth and its many life forms. Recognising the interconnectedness of the crises we face; it seeks to inform and inspire a just and thriving future for all and is an essential resource for all those that believe a better world is possible.
