DUB WAGON returns to The Plough Arts Centre in Great Torrington for a special Valentines Version! ❤️

 Join us for a night of Dub Reggae with North Devon based Sundown Social Soundsystem on Saturday 15th February 2025 in celebration of the 80th Birthday of Legend Bob Marley!

DUB WAGON is a regular new Dub Session in celebration of Dub, Reggae, Roots and DnB, and more widely supporting Bass Culture in the South West. Lead by local Reggae DJ Lady Trojan plus special guests. 

Expect a journey through the archives of Dub's finest musicians and producers including King Tubby, Scientist, Bunny Lee, Augustus Pablo and Lee 'Scratch' Perry, stepping though the foundations of UK Dub with Mad Professor, Dennis Bovell, Mikey Dread, Jah Shaka... with a celebration of Dub's influence on bands and producers across the decades: The Clash, UB40, The Ruts, Aswad, Culture Club, Dreadzone, Zion Train, Beats International, Leftfield, Mungo's HiFi ..to name just a few.

Sundown Social’s DJ’s have been playing out across the UK for over 20yrs with DJs including Craig Charles & KG Sugarlump, local long running Hip Hop & Funk night ON78 and at festivals including Boomtown, Camp Besitval and Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts. Their regular 'Glorious Oyster' beachside sessions have rocketed in popularity over the last 3 years and draw an epic crowd every time!
