Gillian Davies, also known as the silent artist, is a digital artist from Weare Giffard. Living with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and unable to speak, she uses her art as her voice. Her work is deeply inspired by the students she once supported - young people living with PTSD and mental health challenges shaped by trauma and war - and seeks to give space, visibility, and dignity to stories that are often unheard.
This exhibition will be on display on the Artists’ Wall in the Plough Cafe from 15 April - 16 May 2026, open Wed-Sat 10am-4pm.
If you wish to purchase a painting or print during the exhibition period please contact gallery@theploughartscentre.org.uk or visit the Plough Box Office - 01805 624 624 or ask at the cafe.
