Burns Ceilidh Night with The Appledore Ceilidh Band

Celebrate the life, laughter and legacy of Scotland’s national bard with an unforgettable evening of music, dancing and poetry at The Plough Arts Centre!

Kick off the festivities in true Burns style with our Burns Open Mic in the Café Bar area — share your favourite Burns poem, song or toast, or simply enjoy the warm company and words of others. The open mic runs before the main event, so arrive early, grab a dram, and soak up the spirit of the night!

Then, when the doors open, get ready to take to the floor with the lively Appledore Ceilidh Band. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a total beginner, our caller will guide you through every step — no experience needed, just enthusiasm and a sense of fun!

Slàinte mhath!
Come raise a glass, recite a verse, and dance the night away in honour of the great Robert Burns.

To complete the celebration, book in advance for our Scottish Supper Club

Running time 150 minutes
