Discover the heart opening plant wisdom of Mama Cacao + our native Hawthorn tree, with Annabelle Jardine, a cacaoista + shamanic ceremonialist from North Cornwall.

In this evening circle we shall explore the seasonal wisdom of autumn by connecting with the spirit of the Hawthorn tree + Cacao. Through shamanic journeying + intuitive painting with these plant allies, we shall receive insight + guidance upon our path into the winter months ahead.

Both of these beautiful plants are connected to the heart, enabling us to access emotional support, uplift our energy and gently traverse our current experience in a more heart centred way of being. A wonderful way to nourish + prepare our vessels for winter.

Includes

Origins & stories of cacao + hawthorn

Cacao drinking ceremony

Hawthorn meditation connection (hawthorn will not be consumed at this event)

Shamanic drum journey with *cacao + hawthorn - connecting to the spirit of the plants

Creative expression - painting the journey

Optional circle share

Grounding fruit and treats to share

What to bring

Journal and pen

Yoga mat or cushion to sit on (chairs also available if required)

Blanket for cosiness

Eye covering - sleep mask, scarf or even a sock (helps with journey work)

Water bottle

Any offerings/objects you wish to place on our autumnal alter (to be returned on close of circle)

Please read - In preparation for receiving cacao, please do not consume any caffeine, stimulants or plant medicines past 11am on the day of this event. It’s best to have your last meal (something light and fresh) 2 hours prior to consuming cacao to aid in connection to the spirit of cacao.

*Cacao is a delicious, raw chocolate drink associated with the divine feminine and known as ‘the food of the gods’ with ceremonial origins dating back thousands of years in south and Central America. Tales are told of her being sent out to the western world to open the hearts of the people so that we may listen to earth and embody love.

Cacao can support us in tending to our heart space, ground our energy and activate bliss and love within ourselves. She gently shows us the portal to our heart, to our truth and helps facilitate emotional healing.

*She is a beautiful and gentle plant medicine suitable for most people but at this event is unsuitable for those currently

taking SSRI/antidepressant medication, those with conditions of the heart and those who are pregnant.

By attending this event, you agree you have read the above and are able to consume cacao and take full responsibility for your health, safety and wellbeing at all times.

If you have any questions regarding this event, you are welcome to email facilitator Annabelle via email - wildsedona@gmail.com
