Join Sarah Ward of The Hedgewitch Soapery for a full day of scent creation and natural skincare crafting to nourish and moisturise as we head into the winter.

Learn about the benefits of the finest natural ingredients and which ones are most suitable for your skin type, explore how we can use herbs and botanicals in our skincare and be guided through the traditional techniques used to create high quality products with no hidden nasties!

The day begins with the power of scent, learning how perfumers create a scent story, exploring the different fragrance notes, essential oils and the warmer scents of Autumn/winter, creating a signature fragrance for your perfume oil, soap and body butter.

Using plant based ingredients, botanicals and your signature scent you will learn the techniques of traditional cold process soap making and take home a loaf of soap which will cut into approximately eight bars.

We explore how herbs and botanicals are a powerhouse for our skincare, and the methods we can use at home to extract plant medicine for our products.

Using your signature scent we will be crafting a light and deeply moisturising body butter with a range of luxurious natural butters and oils and a deeply moisturising hand or foot balm to nurture and nourish your skin over the harsher winter months

This all day workshop is only £125 and all raw materials, equipment and a workbook of recipes and notes for you to takeaway are supplied.

Please wear long sleeves and full toe shoes and bring an apron, a towel, a shoebox and shopping bag to carry your makes home.

10am-5pm.

Running time 420 minutes
