We understand that choosing your wedding venue is a very important decision, so we encourage you to get in touch to book a viewing of this beautiful building.
Please note we do not supply a registrar for the ceremony, they have to be booked through the North Devon Registration Office on 03451551002.
St Anne's Chapel is a beautiful Grade II Listed building set in a green, pedestrianized oasis in the very heart of Barnstaple; a Gothic building in miniature, charming and unassuming, in the middle of the Parish Church cemetery.
With a capacity of 60 and everything you would expect from a modern venue, it offers a unique opportunity to make your event very special.
Wedding Prices
Weddings £250 for the hour of the ceremony. Plus £25 per hour for additional time.
An additional £15 per hour will be charged per extra member of staff required over and above the one on duty.
Facilities

The Premises Licence allows for music and dance and the sale of alcohol but only via a member of the The Plough’s team.

You may bring your own alcohol, but not to sell.

The Undercroft contains a kitchenette area, with crockery, cutlery, glasses, tableware and tea/coffee making facilities for use by all hirers.

Tables and chairs are available for use.

Navy/White chair covers and Navy/Burgundy sashes available for use, free of charge.

Two lavatories are available adjacent to the Undercroft at the foot of the stone stairs.

From the first time we saw the Chapel we fell in love with it. Such a beautiful building inside and out. Sharon made us feel welcome and nothing seemed too much for her to arrange.
Lots of visits before the day to look at how we would decorate but keeping it simple with candles and a few flowers worked perfectly.
We had a do it yourself wedding as my daughters friends were coming from Kent so we wanted it to be special but informal with free food and drink for the guests!
So we had the ceremony and reception at the Chapel. Sharon and Joy were amazing. The room had to be changed from ceremony to seating for our fish and chips lunch (thank you Catch) along with the grooms men they made it look marvellous. After eating the room was emptied for the disco and dancing. Sharon and Joy worked tirelessly to do these changes and help with the bar and everything else! Nothing was too much. I totally recommend St Anne's Chapel for a magical wedding and any other celebration you might have. Honestly Sharon and her team were amazing and my daughter had her beautiful day!
