Exhibition: One Person's Weed is Another's Wisdom

As part of this exhibition, at 10 am on Sat 26th Pete Yeo will lead a free walk around the outskirts of Torrington which explores the key words found within the title of Keble Martin’s magnum opus - British and Flora - along with associated terms such as wildflower, native, alien, naturalised, invasive, etc.

What is the bigger picture behind these word/ideas and how useful are they?

In the process we may see  Keble Martin’s Flora as a  moment in time, inevitably transient, yet holding memories of the past - and clues to the future.
