For one night only - Join Debbie Kent, John Bangham and friends for an unforgettable evening of original music and eclectic covers as they celebrate The Plough Arts Centre's 50th anniversary year.  This intimate, cabaret-style event brings together two extraordinary, homegrown talents with a combined 40 years of experience dedicated to inspiring young musicians and adults across the South West.

Debbie has long been recognised for her musicianship, dedication to fostering emerging talent and making singing wholly inclusive for all. "Debbie’s passion for music and education is truly inspiring. She is both a mentor and a beacon of creativity; inspirational, musically talented, and unstoppable!" say members of her nationally acclaimed choir, Teachers Rock®.

John Bangham is a well-respected musician across the South West. He is renowned for his unique style, virtuosic and emotive piano playing which adds depth and heart to every song he performs.

Debbie’s musical partnership with John has been the powerful and emotive force behind the nationally acclaimed choir Teachers Rock® for over a decade. Together, they create a dynamic synergy that elevates every performance, empowering both young people and adults to find their voices and express their creativity through music. Their infectious passion and dedication have transformed countless lives, fostering a vibrant community of singers and musicians across generations.

Featuring support performances from aspiring young local artists, this evening promises to be more than just a concert; it is a celebration of the artistry, spirit and partnerships that make our local music scene so vibrant. Join us for a night filled with soulful performances, community spirit and a tribute to The Plough Arts Centre's enduring legacy.
