Exeter’s acclaimed singer-songwriter duo, Sound of the Sirens, are back at The Plough for a night of unforgettable live music!

Abbe Martin and Hannah Wood have spent the past decade honing their craft, earning acclaim as “one of the UK’s finest folk acts”. Their emotive songs, tight harmonies, and infectious energy have captivated audiences across the UK and internationally.

From intimate ballads to foot-stomping sing-along anthems, their live shows are more than just music — they’re an experience. Expect beautifully crafted, emotionally resonant songs alongside high-energy anthems that get the crowd singing and clapping. Their onstage chemistry, playful banter, and warmth make every show a unique experience, and their lyrics touch on love, life, mental health, and the world around us, giving each performance real depth and meaning.

Sound of the Sirens’ latest album, Damage Control, showcases their signature blend of emotive storytelling and musical dexterity — but it’s in the live arena where their magic truly shines. Fans return again and again, drawn by their heartfelt performances and undeniable charisma.
