This event brings together four artists exploring different approaches to texture, rhythm, tuning, and atmosphere. From deep drones and slow-moving bass structures to intricate electronic patterns and multimedia performance, the night offers a diverse lineup of forward-thinking sound.
Gnarled Fingers
A solo experimental drone doom project rooted in Somerset since 2021. Using bass guitar, synths, and multiple valve amps, Gnarled Fingers shapes slow-moving, heavy textures that dissolve the line between sound and environment. Deep frequencies and layered drones build gradually, creating a fully immersive atmosphere that invites the audience to experience sound physically as well as sonically.
Inhibitd
Inhibitd blends pure harmonic tunings, alternate time signatures, dub, and esoteric themes into a self-defined style called Runewave. The result is a form of Cornish braindance that feels both familiar and otherworldly. Expect subtle microtonal shifts, xenharmonic approaches, and genre-bending electronica that explores the edges of rhythm, tuning, and mood while staying grounded in a strong sense of musical connection.
Astral Synthesis
Harmonic loops and evolving layers created live from compact synthesizers. Minimal, immersive, and hypnotic, these evolving patterns grow into rich textures and shifting shapes, drawing listeners into a reflective, focused listening space.
Matthew Greasley
A musician and audio-visual artist from North Devon whose work moves between experimental sound, abstract visuals, and immersive atmospheres. Expect a live multimedia set shaped by flowing drones, shifting textures, and new electronic works created specifically for the space.
