Nine Below Zero – 50th Anniversary Tour

With special guest Robbie McIntosh

50 years. One legendary band. An unmissable night of rhythm & blues, soul and British rock’n’roll.

Dennis Greaves and Mark Feltham, the founding members of Nine Below Zero, started making music and playing live together in South East London back in 1977. Celebrating 50 years of creating and playing some of the finest UK Rhythm n Blues, Nine Below Zero are embarking on a bespoke European Tour in 2027, with very special guests joining them on stage, including legendary Jam bassist Bruce Foxton, fast-rising Zac Shulze, incredible blues pianist Ben Waters, guitarist Robbie McIntosh and long-standing co-performers Dr Feelgood.

Nine Below Zero released their classic debut LP 'Live at the Marquee' in 1980, the band kept the momentum going with 'Don't Point Your Finger' in 1981 before releasing their third LP on A&M Records, 'Third Degree' (1982) with the front cover image shot by legendary photographer, David Bailey. Since 1988 they have released a further 20 LP's in an incredible career and Mark Feltham has also been selected as harmonica-player by a whole host of acts including Oasis, Annie Lennox, Talk Talk and Rory Gallagher.

Nine Below Zero toured with The Who and The Kinks in 1980 / 81 and also appeared on 'The Old Grey Whistle Test', 'The South Bank Show' and perhaps most memorably, a cameo performance on the cult comedy 'The Young Ones'

Joining them for this very special anniversary celebration is acclaimed guitarist Robbie McIntosh, whose extraordinary career has included work with The Pretenders, Paul McCartney, Talk Talk and John Mayer.

This is a night for longtime fans and anyone who loves great musicians, great songs and the unmistakable sound of British rhythm & blues.

50 years of Nine Below Zero. One very special night at The Plough.

Don’t miss it.

An AGMP Concerts presentation.
