Nordic instruments,  Tagelharpas and lyres combined with electronic sounds create inspiring landscapes.

Inspired by the tonal voices of the tagelharpa, a vision began to fuse elements of neoclassical, industrial and electronic influences. Not tied to only Nordic roots Animent's music is drawn from the sounds of the Middle east, Africa, and the far east. Influences from artists such as Wardruna, A Tergo Lupi & Heilung can be heard in the spirit of the music. With two EP releases ‘Skojharta’ and ‘Revelation’ gaining recognition ‘My Love is the Moon’ is due out October this year.

Mìchael is a composer and multi instrumentalist with five albums released under the name of Broken Bird.

Principally a guitarist and vocalist, he has always believed that music can bring a greater sense of consciousness. Now creating neo classical soundscapes with Nordic instruments Animent has become the new fusion of world and sensual artistic expression.

Running time 120 minutes
