Illumination Calligraphy Half Day Workshop

Illumination – the decoration historically used to ornament a manuscript.

No calligraphy experience needed.

This workshop offers instruction for those wishing to try their hand at illuminating a letter.

Anyone age 14 and above is welcome.

You will decorate a prepared single letter using 24 carat gold leaf which you will embellish using a variety of painting and drawing media along traditional or contemporary lines.

Tea & Coffee available throughout the day for a small donation.
