Formidable Force.

A recently formed group from North Devon takes to the stage in many different hats. Join us for a musical performance of a whole variety of song genres and spoken word.

Formidable Force was born one evening in the garden when we were having a lovely time and playing with some ideas. We hope to develop and grow as time goes on.

Karen (Rock Chick) lays down a steady beat with her twelve-string guitar and provides additional vocals. Along with her husband Steve, she started Project: Dance! in 2005. They trained with Dance Rhythms Ltd and are registered professionals with UKA Dance, teaching 18 styles of dance and performing arts.

Sally (Hippy Chick) is our lead singer in Formidable Force. She has been with Project: Dance! for many years. During this time she has won many dance and drama awards and achieved Associate level professional drama during lockdown. She is very skilled in directing shows and is innovative with the spin-off that is Formidable Force.

Grace (Glamour Puss) is a senior student at Project: Dance! and is our ukelele player and singer. She is a cool, calm influence on not only the group but also in Project: Dance! in general. Grace is an enthusiastic, skilled assistant director and has achieved many dance and drama awards since starting with Project: Dance!.

We look forward to entertaining you!
