Join experienced Painter-Printmaker Luna North in The Plough Gallery during her Exhibition for this incredible opportunity to learn Colour Mixing from an expert.

The 3 hour masterclass will run from 11am - 2pm in the Plough's newly refurbished gallery, where Luna will guide you through the colour mixing process and be able to offer essential guidance in selection of paints and materials and how to develop vibrancy and flow to your way of working. You will work with acrylic paints to make two seasonal colour palettes. Surrounded by her current exhibition of work, she will guide you through all aspects of the process whilst explaining the various techniques she uses.

The cost is £38 plus a £7 fee for materials, payable on the day.

"I studied BA (Hons) Fine Art Painting at Falmouth College of Art (1982–1984), creating large-scale landscape paintings influenced by the Romantic traditions of the Cornish art scene. In 1987, I moved to Exmoor with my partner and children, where the moorlands, wildflowers, and ever-changing light became my lifelong inspiration.

In December 2020, I was thrilled to be featured as an Exmoor artist on Channel 4’s Devon and Cornwall TV program.

In 2022, I had the honor of exhibiting with the Royal Society of British Painters at the Mall Galleries in London—a milestone that continues to inspire and motivate my creative journey.

Each moment in nature seems to be an unfolding story to me - I love the way bees explore each tube of red clover flowers with careful hand and tongue - magic moments.

Through my paintings, linocuts, and greeting cards, I hope to bring the peace, beauty, and magic of nature into your life, one piece at a time.” - Luna North.

Places are limited to 12 so book early to avoid missing out on this rare opportunity.

Find out more about Luna North's exhibition HERE - she will be speaking about her process and also her recent commission, for a book that is due to be published in May 2026.

The Cafe will be open 10am - 4pm serving a delicious selection of snacks and drinks.

All Welcome. The Gallery is accessible step-free via a lift.

We look forward to welcoming you!
