Chalk & Charcoal Landscape Workshop
Suitable for all ages 14+. Under 16’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Tutor: Rosie Burns
Develop understanding of composition: the rule of thirds and golden section, use provided or bring your own landscape photographs to work from - if weather allows the afternoon will be spent outside.
£25 materials fee cover an A3 sketchbook, chalk and charcoal and different papers to take home to further develop skills.
10.30am-4.00pm.
Tea & Coffee available throughout the day for a small donation.

About Rosie
Rosie trained in Archaeological illustration, published drawings within the field, completing a degree in Archaeology and Sociology in the late 1990s. After qualifying to teach Art and Design, she went on to teach in many and various educational establishments. Rosie exhibits with a number of galleries across the UK, regularly participates in selected national and international open exhibitions; supplementing sales with teaching and running workshops and life drawing days. She is prolific and fruity, a magpie for collecting images. Her work is often concerned with water, skies, environmental musings and depicting the human form, she is a printmaker and painter, an illustrator and writer – a maker.
