With Sarah Ward of Hedgewitch Soapery & Healing.

Come and weave your intentions into your own handmade dreamcatcher to aid peaceful sleep.

Dream catchers originate from the Native American Spider web charms to protect a person from bad dreams and negative energy while they sleep.

Alternate Ojibwe Legend

“A grandmother watched patiently each day as a spider spun his web above her sleeping place until one day her grandson noticed the spider and tried to kill it”.

“Don’t hurt him,” she told the boy in a soft tone, surprising him.

“But grandmother, you should not protect this spider.”

When the grandson left, the spider thanked the woman for her protection and offered her a gift.  “I will spin you a web that hangs between you and the moon so that when you dream, it will snare the bad thoughts and keep them from you.”

At this, grandmother smiled and continued to watch the spider spin his web.”

These beautiful, protective talismans are traditionally hung over beds and cots and can be mindfully woven with carefully chosen feathers, beads and gemstones in colours of your choice.

Our monthly craft and chat sessions offer a friendly, welcoming space to connect with others over a creative activity. Join us and try a new craft or for one of or byo sessions when you can bring along a current project to work on while enjoying a chat and refreshments.

Join us every Wednesday and bridge the week with relaxation, connection and wellbeing.

Each week we will be looking at different aspects of wellness, offering demonstrations and tasters and explaining how you can integrate them into your life beginning.

We will also offer space to come together for a cup of something warm, a slice of cake and a good chat!

This group is open to anyone looking to get out, meet new people and explore new experiences, so come along with an open mind and an open heart.

Wellbeing Wednesday is a weekly observance or event focused on promoting and encouraging habits and practices that contribute to overall health and wellbeing.
