Radical Landscapes Workshop
Radical Landscapes is a day-long creative workshop designed to explore language at its limits in relation to the landscape of Torrington common. Inspired by the artwork on display at the Radical Landscapes exhibition in The Plough Arts Centre, we will experiment with the sound, movement and mark-making techniques being used by exhibiting language & landscape artists to extend our own creative lexicon. The work will mostly take place outdoors so please come prepared for all weather. Bring a notebook, something to write with and/or a favourite sketchbook, everything else will be provided.
10am-12.30 Morning session
12.30-1.30 Lunch Break
1.30-4pm Afternoon session
All participants are warmly invited to stay on for the chance to perform their own work in the gallery as part of An Evening of Radical Landscape Poetry from 5-7pm, where Camilla will perform from her new book of poetry, A Yarn Er Narrative.
