Marine Conservation in Mozambique (RGS)
With a Military Twist
Free to RGS members.
On sabbatical from commanding infantry soldiers in the British Army, Captain Joshua Axford (RIFLES) spent 18 months as the Chief Operations Officer for The Marine Megafauna Foundation, a marine research and conservation charity headquartered in Mozambique. A light hearted look at how skills from one sector can be applied effectively in another, along with some stories from adventures and misadventures in Southern Africa.
An event in association with the Royal Geographical Society so free to RGS members, who need to book by phone.
Running time 120 minutes
