Above Bounds Theatre Collective present
‘The Elves & The Shoemaker’
Christmas is the most magical time of year but there’s always so much to do! There are presents to wrap, trees to be decorated and cakes to be baked. Amongst the tinsel, glitter and wine, we could all do with a bit of extra help- and that extra help might not be so far away.
When everyone in the house is tucked up in bed, a magical creature lifts its head. With little green fingers and little green toes, pointy ears and a sharp pointed nose, the house elves awaken and look around with glee, what they will make, create or decorate, we will have to wait and see!
Join Above Bounds Theatre for ‘The Elves & The Shoemaker’ a delightful retelling of a well-loved Christmas classic with puppetry, music and a few crafty ideas to help you make it through the festive season.
Above Bounds was founded by Helen Bovey and George Boundy after graduating from East 15 Acting School on the BA World Performance Course. Armed with an eclectic mix of skills including mask, puppetry and comedy, we began developing visually led pieces of theatre for a family audience. We collaborate with a wide variety of artists including actors, musicians, illustrators and dancers and work on a project-by-project basis. Together we have collaborated on projects for the Southend Carnival Archive Association, Vision Redbridge, Briefest and primary schools across the UK.
